Revo Church is a movement aimed at bringing Jesus to Ocala and beyond.
We see a church that is one house, with many rooms spread across Central Florida.
A community known locally and globally for serving with no strings attached.
A church big enough to REACH THE WORLD, but small enough to feel like home.
OUR STORY
The vision for Revo Church came from Pastor Charles Young seeing someone hanging off an overpass bridge in Ocala, Florida, trying to drop onto oncoming traffic. With a past of addiction and being bound, he and his wife, Mariah, started Revo Church to help as many people as possible experience the love of Christ.
The mission is to create a church in Ocala that would be a home to all ages and represent the diversity of our beautiful city.
Charles and Mariah have a heart to reach our city and beyond with the life-transforming message of Jesus. They believe in the next generation and value the wisdom and guidance of those that have gone before us.
Who Revo Is
-
Many messages have tried to work but it’s only the message of Jesus that prevails.
-
Our heart is for all people. No one is excluded! We exist to help Restore Hope and Build Futures. To help bring the broken home at all costs.
-
Generosity is about stepping it up and giving more than required. We’re generous with all we have…Time, Talent and Treasure.
-
We are always going to do our best with what we have. If we can’t do it to the best of our ability, we won’t do it all!
-
If you’re too big to serve, then you’re too small to lead. We believe the greatest leadership is service to others.
Every leader is a servant first - from parking to the stage.
-
Everything we do, we do with passion. From our worship to our service, to reaching our city, it’s all with passion.
Passion for Jesus. Passion for People. Passion for His House.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
-
The sole basis for our belief is the Bible, which is uniquely God-inspired, without error, and the final authority on all matters on which it speaks.
-
As the Bible teaches, there is one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit—each possessing all the attributes of deity.
-
God created humans to have fellowship with Him, but they defied God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, we need God’s saving grace to end our alienation from Him.
-
Salvation comes only through God’s grace – not human effort – and must be received personally by repentance and faith.
Romans 10:9
2 Peter 1:3
Learn more about what it means to make a decision for Christ. -
Jesus Christ, second Person of the Trinity, lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin by dying on the Cross as our substitute. This accomplished salvation for all who receive grace by trusting in Him alone. He rose from the dead and is the only mediator between God and us. He baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit. He will return to earth to consummate history.
2 Corinthians 5:21
Romans 6:23
1 Corinthians 15:20-22
John 3:16 -
The Holy Spirit draws sinners to Christ and equips believers for personal growth and service to the church.
-
The church’s role is to glorify God and serve those in need.
-
At the end, everyone will experience bodily resurrection and judgment. Only believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God.
